Miombo Honey Wine: An East African Safari in a Glass – Supporting Forest & Community

Overview

Transport yourself to the breathtaking landscapes of East Africa with our Miombo Honey Wine, a robust and exotic mead that captures the spirit of adventure. This isn’t just a beverage; it’s a sensory journey into the heart of the Miombo woodlands.

Sourced from a Forest in Need: Our Miombo honey originates from the nectar of Miombo tree flowers, which dominate the dry forests stretching from Kenya to the edge of South Africa.

These Miombo forests are endangered, facing threats from deforestation and unsustainable practices. By choosing our Miombo Honey Wine, you’re actively contributing to the preservation of these vital ecosystems and supporting the livelihoods of the local communities who call them home. These woodlands are a vital ecosystem, home to iconic endangered animal species including elephants, lions, rhinos, and nearly 500 species of birds.
