In stock

Indulge in the rare and exotic flavor of our Ethiopian Geteme Honey Wine, a truly unique experience born from nature’s artistry, and help protect a vital ecosystem.

Overview

Crafted with Geteme honey, a super-floral honey exclusively created from the nectar of Geteme tree (Schefflera abyssinica) flowers, this honey wine offers an unparalleled sensory journey.

Our honey is sourced exclusively from the Afromontane Kafa cloud forest of Southwest Ethiopia – the very origin of coffee. These ancient Kafa cloud forests are endangered, threatened by deforestation and unsustainable agricultural practices.

By choosing our Geteme Honey Wine, you are directly contributing to the conservation of these precious forests and supporting the livelihoods of the communities that protect them. The Geteme trees, which provide shade for the wild forest coffee, contribute to the honey’s distinct and complex flavor profile.

Experience the Simplicity – and Support Conservation: We believe in letting nature speak for itself, and in protecting the resources that make our honey wine possible. Our Geteme Honey Wine is crafted with just two pure ingredients: ethically sourced Ethiopian Geteme honey and pristine Sonoma Valley springwater, fermented to perfection to create a light, perfumed taste that you can feel good about.
